Fish contain healthy oils that prevent plaque buildup in blood vessels. It’s important to reduce the amount of saturated fats, cholesterol and trans fats in your diet. These unhealthy fats when consumed excessively are highly associated with type 2 diabetes, ischemic heart disease and ischemic strokes.
